Get Involved

Do you like what we do?
There are a few ways to get involved:
Become an individual donor and drop off your cleaned plastic waste ready for us to recycle into useful new things!
We're currently accepting plastic bottle tops (number 2 in the recycling triangle) and margarine tubs, (number 5 in the recycling triangle).
These symbols can be found on most of your plastic items at their base or bottom.
You can donate them at one of our collection hubs; Arts Factory Rhondda Ferndale and Maerdy and Little Shed/Rhondda Housing Association in Tonypandy or if you just want to drop off some bottle tops, the Cynon Valley Museum has a collection box. Alternatively, you can drop them off directly to us on Monday, Thursday or Friday from 10am to 3pm but please do email us in advance.

You can also volunteer at the Soaring Supersaurus workshop and find out first hand how our products are made. We’ll provide you with full Protective Personal Equipment and Health and Safety inductions to keep you safe on site.
Our valued partnerships with small businesses in our local community provide an opportunity for them to see their plastic waste transformed into new useful things whilst diverting plastic from landfill. If you own a small business and would like to get involved, you can find out a bit more here. We’d like you to wash and save specific plastic waste items like milk bottles and plastic bottle tops.
We can collect, process and transform them into new and unique products.

Looking Forward
Later this year, we aspire to expand our volunteer intake.
We'll be working on a community garden, so there'll be even more ways to engage with us in 2023.
If you’d like to join us on our recycling mission, please fill out your details here.
We’re creating an intake form to assist in collecting expressions of interest and we will reach out to share volunteer opportunities and events with you.
Please note that by sharing your contact information, you are agreeing to receive communications from Soaring Supersaurus.
