About Us

Shwmae, hi, we're Soaring Supersaurus and we recycle plastic waste into new and unique things to support arts and sustainability projects in upper Rhondda Cynon Taf.

We mix colours from the plastic we collect and don't use additives in our process.

Our machinery was designed by Precious Plastic, and is an open-source resource aimed at communities globally to take control and create local benefit from this undervalued resource.

Our Impact

We've been keeping track of how much plastic we collect and process to measure our impact.

In 2024, so far we have processed

2,442

plastic milk bottles.

That’s 117.216 Kilograms of plastic.

By the end of 2023, we had processed

5,287

plastic milk bottles.

That’s 253.776 Kilograms of plastic.

And altogether, that’s

7,729

plastic milk bottles.

That's 370.992 Kilograms of plastic.
